How are you adjusting your admission process?
Child visits will be back in-person.
Parent interviews will be virtual (online).
Open Houses will be virtual (online) with some in-person options.
Tours will be in-person. We also have a thorough Virtual Tour.
COVID safety protocols for admissions visitors will be announced soon.
Are you conducting tours/open houses?
We will continue offering in-person tours. All parents who have completed applications will receive a tour during the day with an opportunity to experience life at Bank Street during a typical school day. Evening tours will be available to all prospective parents.
Our all-grades open houses will be virtual (online). There will be in-person and virtual options for our Preschool and Pre-K open houses.
Are both parents expected to attend tours/presentations? yes
What is expected of families?
Fill out and submit the application by December 1, 2022.
Attend an Open House.
Schedule child’s visit (in-person) and parent interview (virtual).
Submit the required documents.
Our Lower School (Preschool--First Grade) applicants will have one hour visits in small playgroups.
Second Grade--Eighth Grade applicants will have individual visits 1.5--2 hours, including a tour of Bank Street, an academic skills assessment, and time in a class with students in the same grade.
Parent interviews will be one hour and virtual via zoom.
